royalties due × blog

here is one of those modern day hypocrisies I detest yet inevitably fall victim to again and again.  you like a band/group/person/film that is undiscovered/under-appreciated giving you the right to celebrate the fact that you found them first and everyone else are just morons/squares/republicans who are totally missing the boat.  thus is the case with my beloved little boots.  little boots jumped the shark yesterday when she was blogged by perez hilton and soon everyone will be on the bandwagon.  i know in my heart of hearts that this is for the best but also damn near ruins my chance of her discovering this blog and falling in love with my canned tumblr theme and zany digg re-posts.  *sigh*

go my dearest little boots, go into the world and be prosperous.  i will watch from afar and remember when there was only one set of bootprints in the sand… that is when I was carrying you :*(
